Planned Giving

The Black Hills Fly Fishers is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity as defined under publication 78 of the IRS code. This means we can accept charitable contributions!! Donors may also receive a tax deduction for their generosity. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts are deductible for federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions. Think about the BHFF when you are planning your estate distributions, allocating assets, selling land (giving a portion to our organization before the sale can help offset capital gains taxes), or unsure about utilizing required minimum retirement distributions.  The BHFF can even manage properties for the long term benefit of fish and clean water in the Black Hills! The tax advantages of giving to the BHFF is only one reason. The fish and habitats in which they live is the ultimate benefit. Talk with your financial advisor today about how giving to the BHFF can make your situation better.

Want to talk about your planned gift to the BHFF?  Contact BHFF president, Buddy Seiner at 605-222-9706 or bseiner@gmail.com.  Thank you!
